I\u2019d never used a screen reader on my phone or computer, and had simply relied on magnification. Amena was able to teach and show me how to use a screen reader to become more efficient in my master\u2019s courses. I\u2019m now employed as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and could not be doing the work I do everyday without the training I received. Amena taught me how to navigate multiple screen readers and programs using non-visual techniques. She taught me how to problem solve technical issues independently so that I could troubleshoot for myself when challenges arise. She made it fun and exciting to learn, and empowered myself with the skills I needed to be successful.
